Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Production Fill Technician to support drug formulation, weighing, cleaning, and documentation in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

You will operate Galaxy Machine, set up equipment, perform sterilization, manage Dataloger output, and troubleshoot alarms while following GMPs and batch records. Night shifts on a 12-hour cycle are available with hourly pay of $28.20 and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, experience in GMP Mfg
• Visual acuity 20/25 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required
• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English to align with SOPs, specs, training materials, GMPs
• Requires use and troubleshooting of dispensing equipment
• Preferably 6+ months of experience with technical/mechanical machine operating
• Good documentation skills and computer skills
• Basic math skills required
• Candidates will be required to pass a job placement examination assessing physical capabilities
• Comfortable wearing protective equipment with a respirator, and working in confined spaces
• Comfortable with pressurized equipment, -25 to -70 F, hot surfaces, and wet environment

Responsibilities

• Run Galaxy Machine
• Set up equipment
• Perform sterilization
• Management of Dataloger output
• Troubleshoot alarms
• Operate equipment in mix and fill processes with measuring tools
• Make process adjustments per GMPs and plant procedures
• In-Process inspections and documentation
• Issue ports, build embosser, clean pressure vessel
• Perform line clearances
• Build and test production sterilizing filters
• Maintain area housekeeping
• Perform drop sanitization
• Overtime may be required
