Job summary

Plastipak Packaging is seeking a Production Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will monitor equipment, adjust settings, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure high-quality plastic containers.

The role requires a minimum of one year experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician, with knowledge of extrusion or blow molding preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician in high-volume production.
Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands.

Set Schedules : 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, then 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate!

As a Production Technician, You Will

Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment
Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions

This Is A Great Fit If You Have

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production
Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred
Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

Pay & Shift

Nights: 6:30pm-7:00am (3-2-2-3 Schedule)

$25+/hr.
