Job description

Satellite Industries is looking to grow our team with talented Production Technicians. Competitive pay. Hours: Monday - Thursday, 40 hours a week. Overtime as required.

Position Summary:
The Production Technician works with materials to create a finished product for commercial or industrial use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate processing equipment so that the product meets customer product and mix instruction specifications.
• Follow all process control procedures and work instructions.
• Understand and comply with procedures regarding possible chemical reactions.
• Follow production work order instructions.
• Labeling of containers to meet customer specifications and federal regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment for 5‐S compliance.
• General clean up duties; sweeping, squeegee floors, cleaning process equipment, and work areas assigned.
• Must be able to multi‐task.
• Understand and adhere to company quality standards.
• Understand and follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Understand all work instructions for this position.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Proper use of PPE.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements:

• This position prefers a High school diploma/GED
• 1+ year of chemical production and/or warehouse experience preferred.
