Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group, LLC in Vermont is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support daily production goals in a facility that blends office and shop floor environments.

You will work in a team, perform simple machine set-ups, read and understand blueprints, and follow QC procedures, while monitoring scrap and maintaining quality. Overtime may be required; a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience required.
• Basic math skills
• Accountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to perform simple machine set-ups
• Must be able to read and understand most blueprints
• Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
• Must be able to monitor scrap rates
• Must be able to inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
• Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
• Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
• Understand production requirements
• Basic understanding of Lean principles
• Must be available to work overtime if required
