Job summary

This role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and possibly postsecondary education in manufacturing technology or a related field, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in production, assembly, or processing roles.
• Thorough knowledge of production machinery, setup, adjustment, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to guide production processes.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions and take corrective actions quickly.
• Ability to maintain organized production documentation for records and audits.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to PPE usage and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate production equipment per blueprints and SOPs.
• Ensure all production activities meet predefined quality metrics and adjust as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records including workflow and equipment performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine problems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with QC and engineering to implement improvements and resolve challenges.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and new team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
