Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics in Lehi, UT is seeking a Production Technician III to support on-site operations for carrier gases and advanced materials. You will perform safety-focused maintenance, calibrate analyzers, and help manage daily plant activities to ensure reliable production processes.

The role requires 4+ years of technical experience, knowledge of instrumentation and rotating equipment, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours/shift work as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays to meet shift and on-call requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge/understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants (Process Safety Management, EPA, FDA, local regs).
• Knowledge in the proper methods of locking out and isolating equipment.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of plant safety rules and company safety policies.

• Enter maintenance needs into the work order system (Maximo).
• Perform work in compliance with safety requirements and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Design lock-out/tag-out IDLs for plant work.
• Demonstrate plant start-up capabilities and calibrate/troubleshoot plant analyzers.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations independently and with team support.
• Contribute to reliability and quality of delivered products.
• Read blueprints, ISOs, P&IDs and electrical schematics; perform basic math.
• Write and redline SOPs and maintain records.

On site, manufacturers partner with us for expertise in providing comprehensive support and management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously advance production processes.****Job Responsibilities:***** Demonstrate an overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures.* Instill safety in others by being safety minded; models good safety practices.* Work safely in all situations.* Identify potential maintenance needs; enter them into the work order maintenance management system (Maximo).* Perform all work in compliance with standard operating and maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety Training skills and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.* Ensure contractors, visitors, co-workers and others comply with company safety policies/procedures.
