Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production Technical Operations to handle manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specs, schedules, and quality standards. This onsite role is in the Manufacturing function and requires English proficiency and a high school diploma.

Work on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm) with opportunities for growth within a global eye health leader.

Qualifications

English language proficiency required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Handle manual or operational tasks according to guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives.
Adhere to GMP by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control.
Complete required training and contribute to organizational compliance.
Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
