Responsibilities

  • The Production Technician I prepares customer orders by safely filling containers with the correct products.
  • Verifies materials through quality audits before production begins.
  • Accurately fills orders with correct product and quantity.
  • Returns partially used bulk containers to designated storage locations.
  • Applies correct lot numbers and product labels to finished containers.
  • Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies or damaged inventory.
  • Maintain clean work areas and wear PPE at all times.
  • Assist coworkers to meet daily production goals.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

The Role

Summary / Primary Role

The Production Technician I is responsible for accurately preparing customer orders by safely filling containers with the correct products, verifying materials through quality audits, and ensuring products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, workplace safety, and efficient warehouse operations.

What You'll Do

We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused team player who enjoys working in a production and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, follows established procedures, and takes pride in producing quality work while supporting teammates and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Pull the correct materials, bottles, lids, and containers for production orders.

Verify materials through the required audit process before production begins.

Accurately fill customer orders with the correct product and quantity.

Return partially used bulk containers to their designated storage locations.

Apply the correct lot numbers and product labels to finished containers.

Quality & Inventory Control

Inspect products for quality and identify defects or damaged materials.

Report discrepancies or damaged inventory to management or the inventory team.

Maintain accurate records regarding product usage and damaged materials.

Verify products using original material labels before production.

Safety & Warehouse Operations

Maintain clean work areas, tools, equipment, and production supplies.

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Assist coworkers as needed to support daily production goals.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.

Knowledge of Food Safety, Food Defense, and HACCP principles preferred.

Experience using pallet jacks, barrel wrenches, mixing tools, or similar production equipment preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

Dependable with strong personal accountability and professionalism.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Commitment to workplace safety and safe operating procedures.

Physical & Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse and production environment with exposure to:

Dust, airborne particles, odors, and fumes

Temperature fluctuations

Noise and vibration

Forklifts and other warehouse equipment

The position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, balance, and lift

Push, pull, carry, and lift up to 100 pounds

Read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Maintain visual awareness and safely work around moving equipment

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Base Pay Range: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
