About the Job:

The Production Technician I accurately prepares orders such as On Demand, Conversions, or projects for shipment by pouring the correct product in the correct container and deliver to Audit Desk for inspection of proper pouring, material, container, or bag.

In This Role, You Will:

• Pull material/bottle/lid for order
• Call for an audit of material/bottle/lid for correct items before pouring
• Fill order by pouring the correct amount of product into the correct container to be shipped to the customer.
• Reclose the original bulk container if not emptied and stage or take back to location/bin.
• Mark poured products with the correct lot # or place correct label on container/lid.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records of the use and/or damage of products.
• Examine and inspect products for defects, report any damage to manager or inventory team to investigate, use original label of material to verify correct product.
• Assist fellow coworkers as needed.
• Responsible for wearing proper PPE as required per order
• All other duties and projects as assigned.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred
• Familiarity with Food Safety and Defense / HAACP is preferred
• Knowledge and ability to work with tools such as barrel wrench, pallet jack and mixing tools is preferred

• This is an in-office role based in Vandalia, IL

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The base pay range for this position is $16.50 to $17.50 per hour.
