Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant, or chemical processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment and systems to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production.
• Interpret plant specifications to determine required ingredients, product parameters, and procedural modifications.
• Initiate and regulate the flow of materials through equipment, manually or via automated systems.
• Adjust controls and instrumentation to maintain optimal process conditions, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Conduct in-process sampling and quality checks to confirm product integrity and adherence to standards.
• Document production data, equipment readings, and deviations or malfunctions during the shift.
• Support line changeovers and sanitation procedures to maintain readiness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S/Kaizen) to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment per safety and quality protocols.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment and systems to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production
• Interpret plant specifications to determine required ingredients, product parameters, and procedural modifications
• Initiate and regulate the flow of materials through equipment such as heating vessels and mixing tanks, either manually or through automated systems
• Adjust controls and instrumentation to maintain optimal process conditions, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates
• Conduct in-process sampling and quality checks to confirm product integrity and adherence to standards
• Accurately document production data, equipment readings, and any deviations or malfunctions during the shift
• Support line changeovers and sanitation procedures to maintain operational readiness
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen activities, to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
• Identify and communicate opportunities to reduce waste and improve process efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with safety and quality protocols

Position Details:

• Plant Location : McDonough, GA.
• Work Week & Shift : Monday-Friday 2pm - 12am, with some weekends
• Compensation $21.45 ph

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant, or chemical processing environment

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
