Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Production Technician I to monitor production processes, operate equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards across shifts in Holland, Michigan. The role emphasizes learning to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture, with a team-focused, results-driven mindset.

The position offers a 2nd shift with hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, plus weekend overtime as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience with high-speed production machinery.
• 1 year prior experience monitoring product quality.
• Ability to learn processing and packaging equipment; mechanical background preferred.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
• Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software.
• Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations.

Job Overview:

Production Technician I

The Production Technician I is responsible for monitoring Keurig Dr Pepper’s production processes, including operating manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards for safety and quality. This role will be engaged and understand initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday - Friday with flexibility to work overtime, Many Saturday weekends and holidays and required by schedule.
• 2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.

Total Rewards:

Pay starting at $22.62 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $23.88 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Shift Differential: $0.75

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 1 year prior experience with operation of high-speed production machinery preferred
• 1 year prior experience monitoring of product quality preferred
• Ability to quickly learn about how processing and packaging equipment works. Mechanical understanding or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
• Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software.
• Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
