Position Overview

Are you ready to break new ground and leave a collective legacy? As a Production Technician I at AstraZeneca, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our Supply Chain. You will operate upstream/downstream/central services processing equipment according to established SOPs. This is your chance to be part of a team reimagining how we do things and creating a collective legacy.

Accountabilities
  • Operate processing equipment according to SOPs, MPRs, & SPRs in compliance with cGMPs.
  • Perform solution preparation, cell culture, purification, formulation, and supporting activities.
  • Train with a qualified Technician on activities related to operating process equipment, with the requirement of qualification.
  • Follow and execute cGMP documentation, utilize Manufacturing Execution systems (MES), and contribute to problem-solving activities for non-routine activities on the production floor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities for Manufacturing.
  • Adhere to AstraZeneca values and behaviors.
Essential Skills/Experience: Production Tech I
  • 0-1 years of experience with a High School Diploma.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Ability to comply with cGMP standards.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Degree in STEM field.
  • Prior experience or exposure to aseptic/cGMP standards and environment.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $56,072.00 to $84,108.00. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also receive overtime pay for qualifying hours. Base pay may vary depending on factors such as market location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Our positions also offer a short-term incentive bonus, eligibility for our long-term incentive program (for salaried roles), retirement contributions (hourly roles), and potential for commission payments (sales roles). Benefits include a 401(k) plan, paid vacation and holidays, paid leaves, and health coverage. Additional details will be provided upon offer of employment. This is an at-will position, and the company reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at any time.
