Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. in Seguin, TX is seeking an Employee-Owner Technician to support manufacturing, production, material handling, and quality activities across multiple production areas, adhering to standard work and safety procedures to ensure efficient operations.

You will operate equipment, assist with setup, monitor machine output, perform basic troubleshooting, train new hires, and help maintain quality control in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Support setup and operation of assigned workstations (loading, catching, trimming, wrapping, banding, assembly, roll-forming).
• Perform material handling: loading raw materials, catching finished goods, stacking, moving materials.
• Assist Operators by monitoring output, reporting issues, and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete production tasks using hand/power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control is performed at each work center per QC standards and feedback.
