Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Production Technician to assemble custom diesel and natural gas generator systems. You will read blueprints, install mechanical, electrical, and fuel components, and test completed units in a hands-on, team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with precision tools, and the ability to follow engineering drawings. This on-site role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration to meet production schedules

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical assembly and basic test procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and assembly specs.
• Assemble generator systems per design requirements.
• Install mechanical, electrical, fuel, exhaust, cooling, and support components.
• Inspect parts and verify tolerances against drawings.
• Perform testing and document results; ensure safety and quality.
