Job summary

Airgas seeks a Production Technician to join our Dayton, OH plant. You will operate and control equipment used in air separation and related processes, maintain plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices, and support startups, training and leave coverage.

The role offers a 12-hour rotating schedule, on-call as required, and pay of $30 per hour with 4% annual bonus. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 2–3 years of industrial/cryogenic plant experience, with knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2 – 3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.
• Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks
• Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment

Responsibilities

• The Production Technician operates and controls equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.
• Maintains plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment.
• Provides support to processing plants for startups, training and leave coverage.
