Job summary

Arrow Finishing, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician for Blast to process customer parts per requirements while upholding safety and quality standards. You will start up Blast jobs, monitor production activities, and maintain accurate paperwork in a clean, organized area.

The role requires reliable teamwork, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures. The schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence required.
• US citizenship or current Green Card required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use simple software.
• Attention to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, understand processes and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction standards are met or exceeded.
• Continuously monitor production steps to ensure part quality.
• Responsible for start-up of Blast jobs.
• Communicate with other technicians to share information during the shift.
• Visually monitor tanks and report issues to the Production Shift Supervisor.
• Keep area clean and organized; store equipment properly.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date trainings in the LMS system.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.

Summary | Objective

A Production Technician for Blast is accountable for processing customer parts per customer requirements while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements.

Key Responsibilities | TASKS YOU DO TO ACHIEVE THE ACCOUNTABILTIES

• Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded
• Continuously monitor each step of production process to ensure quality of parts
• Responsible for start-up of Blast jobs
• Communicate with other technicians within department to share needed information throughout workday
• Responsible for visually monitoring tanks and communicating issues with the Production Shift Supervisor
• Maintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properly
• Notify the Production Shift Supervisor of any necessary maintenance repairs that are needed
• Properly complete required paperwork
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area
• Keep up to date with required trainings within the LMS system
• Follow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision
• Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires
• Ability to withstand occasional odors

Work Environment

This position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
