Job summary

Arrow Finishing Inc. is seeking a Production Technician for Blast to process customer parts per specifications while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rates.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork on the production floor. You will start up Blast jobs, monitor processes, complete paperwork, and follow PPE requirements while supporting continuous improvement and on-time deliveries. The schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be a US citizen or have a current Green Card.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.
  • General knowledge of Blast terminology.
  • Ability to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction standards are met.
  • Continuously monitor production steps to ensure part quality.
  • Start-up of Blast jobs.
  • Communicate with other technicians and share information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper paperwork.
  • Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
  • Work 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Job description

Description

A Production Technician for Blast is accountable for processing customer parts per customer requirements while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Meet or exceed organizational goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Meet or exceed expectations regarding the organization’s attendance policy
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded
  • Continuously monitor each step of production process to ensure quality of parts
  • Responsible for start-up of Blast jobs
  • Communicate with other technicians within department to share needed information throughout workday
  • Responsible for visually monitoring tanks and communicating issues with the Production Shift Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properly
  • Notify the Production Shift Supervisor of any necessary maintenance repairs that are needed
  • Properly complete required paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area
  • Keep up to date with required trainings within the LMS system
  • Follow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision
  • Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires
  • Ability to withstand occasional odors
Work Environment

This position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
