Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician Associate to assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, and to perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.

You will identify and perform repetitive assembly tasks using blueprints or work instructions and safely operate measuring tools and hand/power tools in a manufacturing setting. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent work/military experience, with about 2 years in a warehouse environment.

• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical aptitude for assembling trailers and related components.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures
• Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience
• 2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment
• Availability to travel more than 75% of the timeGood communication skillsProven ability to collaborate with and support other team members

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside on occasion
• Reach (including above your head)
• Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Visually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilities
