Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Sandston, VA is seeking a Production Technician Associate III to manage site-level logistics, ensure inventory accuracy, and support audits. You will handle material readiness and drive process improvements to enhance operations.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Responsibilities include receiving, staging, operating equipment, recording movements in systems, and collaborating with the team to maintain safety and efficiency.

As the Production Technician Associate III, you will be accountable for site-level logistics execution, including maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring material readiness, and supporting audit activities. This role also involves setting daily priorities, coordinating team workflows, resolving complex inventory or process issues, and driving process improvements to enhance overall operational performance.

Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience
• 4 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment
• Availability to travel more than 75% of the time
• Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team membersAbility to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outside on occasion
• Reach (including above your head)
• Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Visually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilities
