Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) / Night Shift (2:30 PM – 12:30 AM)

Summary

Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting printers and presses used in production. Ensures equipment is running efficiently and that printed materials meet quality standards. Includes performing routine daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and collaborating with team leads to meet daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor printers, presses & equipment to ensure consistent output and quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues with printing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on printers and presses to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance & maintenance logs.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leads and Production Manager regarding equipment status, troubleshooting progress, and any issues.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that arise throughout the day.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Assist in training new technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Resumen del puesto

Responsable de operar, mantener y solucionar problemas de impresoras y prensas utilizadas en la producción. Asegura que el equipo funcione de manera eficiente y que los materiales impresos cumplan con los estándares de calidad. Incluye realizar mantenimiento rutinario diario, semanal y mensual, y colaborar con los líderes de equipo para cumplir con los objetivos diarios de producción.

Responsabilidades clave

• Supervisar impresoras, prensas y equipos para garantizar una producción y calidad constantes.
• Diagnosticar y solucionar problemas mecánicos, eléctricos y de software relacionados con los equipos de impresión.
• Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y reparaciones menores en impresoras y prensas para minimizar el tiempo de inactividad y prolongar la vida útil del equipo.
• Mantener registros precisos del rendimiento de las máquinas y de los registros de mantenimiento.
• Comunicarse eficazmente con los líderes de equipo y el Gerente de Producción sobre el estado del equipo, el progreso de la resolución de problemas y cualquier inconveniente.
• Seguir los protocolos de seguridad y mantener un área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
• Solucionar y resolver problemas que surjan durante el día.
• Identificar oportunidades para mejorar procesos, reducir desperdicios y aumentar la eficiencia.
• Ayudar a capacitar a nuevos técnicos en la operación del equipo y los procedimientos de mantenimiento.
