Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Production Technician II in Columbus, OH to operate and monitor packaging equipment in a state-of-the-art aseptic facility. You will perform machine changeovers, assist with process improvements, and conduct data recording to ensure safety and quality standards.

This full-time 2nd shift role requires hands-on maintenance, problem solving, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working with automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment.
• 1 year prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing; computer and software skills including Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of mathematical production calculations and loss/waste analysis.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and stand on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment.
• Performs machine changeovers and minor adjustments to improve safety, quality, and delivery.
• Records data such as charts and process adjustments based on findings.

Production Technician II - Columbus, OH

The Production Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment to maximize operational efficiency and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality in a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility. This includes preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and making minor adjustments. This role will also be engaged in the improvement of manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. There will be a potential for domestic travel during the training period.

Shift & Schedule:

This is a full time position on 2nd shift Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00p. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties with a safety first approach
• Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
• Set up machinery and replenish production materials as needed.
• Operate and monitor line for defective materials and perform other related work in accordance with line quality.
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.).
• Perform standard work for Autonomous (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities.
• Perform machine changeovers and clean and sanitize all equipment

Total Rewards:

• Pay starting at $25.34 per hour + $0.75 shift Diff

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience working with and on automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment
• 1 years prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office)
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical skills to make production calculations and perform loss and waste analysis
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently without assistance
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motion Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer work
• Must be available to work extended hours and flexible time in different departments based on business needs
• Aseptic manufacturing experience preferred
