Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Production Technician II in Columbus, OH to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot high‑speed production lines in a state-of-the-art aseptic facility. You will perform machine changeovers, engage in preventative maintenance, and support process improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Required are 2 years on automated machinery with troubleshooting skills, plus 1 year of quality testing and MS Office proficiency.

  • 1 year monitoring and performing product quality testing; MS Office skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work extended hours in a manufacturing setting.

Shift & Schedule

This is a full time position on 3rdshift Monday - Friday 9:30pm - 6:00am. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Production Technician II - Columbus, OH

The Production Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment to maximize operational efficiency and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality in a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility. This includes preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and making minor adjustments. This role will also be engaged in the improvement of manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. There will be a potential for domestic travel during the training period.

Responsibilities
  • Performs duties with a safety first approach
  • Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
  • Set up machinery and replenish production materials as needed.
  • Operate and monitor line for defective materials and perform other related work in accordance with line quality.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.).
  • Perform standard work for Autonomous (AM) and Preventative (PM) maintenance activities.
  • Perform machine changeovers and clean and sanitize all equipment
Total Rewards
  • Pay starting at $25.34 per hour with up to $0.75 shift differential. The employee will move to a higher rate of $26.65 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working with and on automated machinery and troubleshooting electrical mechanical equipment
  • 1 years prior experience monitoring and performing product quality testing Computer and software skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Basic understanding and application of mathematical skills to make production calculations and perform loss and waste analysis
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently without assistance
  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motion Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor with some frequency of computer work
  • Must be available to work extended hours and flexible time in different departments based on business needs
  • Aseptic manufacturing experience preferred
