Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in High Point, NC is seeking a Production Technician (Chemical Mixing) for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate mixing equipment, follow batch cards, maintain product quality, collect samples, and keep workstations clean.

Training on first shift is provided before moving to 2nd shift. Requirements include at least 1 year in a plant or manufacturing environment, ability to pass background and drug screening, and willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing

Qualifications

• Background: Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen (No Exceptions).
• At least 1 year of experience in a Plant or Manufacturing environment.
• Chemicals experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients to make products by performing the following (but not limited to) duties.
• Regulate machines, operate equipment and mix or blend ingredients according to formulation batch cards to meet production goals.
• Maintain highest level of quality at all times.
• Collect samples from batch for laboratory testing.
• Responsible to clean machine and workstation after each job.

Shift & Hours

Shift: We are seeking candidates for 2nd or 3RD Shift

Hours: (2:00pm to 10:30pm – 2nd Shift) (10:00 to 6:30am – 3rd Shift)

IMPORTANT: CANDIDATE WILL TRAIN ON 1’ST SHIFT, BUT AFTER BEING FULLY TRAINED, WILL MOVE TO 2’nd SHIFT
