Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Production Technician (Chemical Mixing) for 2nd and 3rd shifts in High Point, NC. Starting wage is $22.50 per hour with a $1.25 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen, and training on 1st shift precedes transfer to 2nd shift.

Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is required (1+ year). Chemicals experience is a huge plus. Forklift experience is beneficial but not required; forklift training is provided.

• Clean machine and workstation after each job.

• Regulate machines, operate equipment and mix or blend ingredients according to formulation batch cards accurately to meet production and/or inventory levels.
• Maintain highest level of quality at all times.
• Collect samples from batch for laboratory testing.
• Responsible to clean machine and workstation after each job.
