Job summary

Worthington Industries Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for 2nd and 3rd shifts to help produce high-quality steel products for North American automakers. Training begins on first shift with a smooth transition to 2nd or 3rd shifts.

You will learn safe operation of equipment, material handling, and production flow in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a $1.50/hour shift differential and benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical work.
• Reliable transportation is required; facility not accessible by public transit.
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Move, stage, and handle steel safely.
• Package, band, weigh, and inspect finished products.
• Load and unload production equipment.
• Perform quality checks to ensure product excellence.
• Work safely while meeting production goals.
