Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for meeting production goals/quality, machine operation and set up, delegation of labor, leading a team, and ensuring proper materials are staged at the machine. Also fulfills duties of a Production Technician 1 Feeder/Strapper as required.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Load and unload material into machine.
2. Perform and validate machine setup.
3. Manage machine performance via computer interface, troubleshoot, and perform quality checks.
4. Analyze data, report to supervisors, and recommend improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coach team members.
2. Adhere to safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
3. Collect and enter machine performance data.
4. Participate in meetings and share equipment knowledge.
5. Operate equipment like pallet jacks, pull samples, and make minor adjustments.
6. Handle specific duties for PT1 – Palletizer and Feeder roles.

Qualifications

Education & Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication in English.
• Strong understanding of machine components and manufacturing processes.

Experience / Skills / Abilities:

• 1-3 years related experience.
• Ability to multi-task, work with urgency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to assess obstacles and take corrective action.
• Mathematical skills and ability to interpret machine reports.
• Experience as a line lead preferred.
• Computer skills are a plus.
