Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Level One Part Finisher to perform basic finishing tasks under supervision in our Bucks County, PA facility. The role involves visual inspection, cleaning, minor paint touch up, and polishing with common hand tools and polishing equipment.

Job description

Level One: Under direct supervision, level one part finishers complete a number of part finishing tasks such as visual inspection, part cleaning, minor paint touch up, minor assembly, part marking, and part polishing. This role will require basic mechanical aptitude, basic shop math, the use of common hand tools and powered equipment such as part marking and polishing equipment. 0-1 YOE

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
  • Set work priority & schedule
  • Perform full machine setups
  • Provide leadership and training to lower level employees

Required Skills:

  • The ability to read and write English.
  • Basic Inspection Processes (Tools & Measurements)
  • Advanced Understanding of Machine Function (Setups)
  • Advanced knowledge of tools (Drills, Reams, Taps)
  • Communication Skills (With manufacturing engineers, QA, Closing and Management)

Experience & Education:

  • Typically 2-4 years of recent and relevant work experience or training
  • High School Diploma or GED is expected
