Maple Systems Inc. seeks an industrious Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Computer Production Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will assemble, test, and document electronics and cable assemblies, and support software loading on end products.

The role requires hands-on skills with soldering, wiring, and using precision tools, along with the ability to read work orders and BOMs. GED or high school diploma with 3–5 years experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with through-hole and SMT soldering is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

This position is a split role between Electro-Mechanical Assembler and Computer Production Technician.

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDownload software to end products and test for quality.Process (solder, assemble) on demand cable orders.Process (assemble) OIT ordersPrint and prepare product installation instructions.Process PC orders (assemble)Verify work order BOM’s before assemblyPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Passionate and hardworking professional with the ability to prioritize and multitaskExceptional organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detailExperience with NetSuite ERP system is a plusComputer component knowledgeAbility to troubleshoot computer hardware & softwareGood manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of hand toolsExperience with through hole and SMT soldering is a plus

Supervisory Responsibility:This position does not supervise others.

Education/Experience:High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED); 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
