Job summary

Alaris mWave is seeking a reliable Production Technician to perform complex mechanical, electro-mechanical and RF assembly, following documented procedures with quality front and center.

The role requires high school/technical education, 2 years of assembly experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. On-site at Centurion, South Africa; ISO 9001:2025 aligned quality focus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Technical college or similar post-high-school education with a mechanical/electrical focus preferred; RF experience a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of complex assembly experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical and RF components.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks thoroughly and on time while maintaining quality.
• Follow assembly instructions and seek guidance when unsure.
• Manage tools and workspace; ensure housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
• Complete timesheets and proper documentation for Production Manager.
• Maintain 100% attendance unless PTO is approved.

Alaris mWave is looking for a reliable, quality focused Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will carry out complex mechanical, electro-mechanical and RF assembly work, following documented procedures precisely while keeping quality front of mind. You will manage your tools and workspace to a high standard, support other departments including Testing, Engineering and Sales with ad hoc queries, and take pride in getting things right the first time. Key Performance Requirements

Operational

• Perform assembly tasks thoroughly, in a timely manner, while maintaining quality
• Follow assembly instructions correctly; seek guidance from the proper authority when needed or unsure of a process
• When corrections are needed, contact management before proceeding
• Manage the use of tools and equipment
• Establish and maintain good housekeeping standards
• Ensure equipment is maintained and kept orderly
• Manage ad hoc queries from other departments (e.g. Testing, Engineering and Sales)
• Practice all safety procedures with the correct PPE when applicable

Administrative

• Retrieve the documentation required to perform assemblies
• Ensure proper documentation is turned in to the Production Manager in the correct designated bin
• Complete timesheets neatly and correctly
• Ensure corrective or improvement comments are submitted to Production Control in a timely manner
• Maintain 100% attendance unless pre-authorised PTO is approved
• Maintain accurate clocking in and clocking out procedures on the time clock when arriving for breaks, lunch and departure

Responsibility to Quality, ISO 9001:2025

• Be committed to maintaining the quality standards set out in our QMS Manual
• Maintain a high level of quality during production (i.e. reduce the need for warranty repairs)
• Bring mistakes immediately to management for corrective action

Ad Hoc

• Any other duties as required by management
