Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Technician in Tallahassee, FL. Duties include mechanical assembly, operating various presses, and material handling on the assembly line.

You will sort parts, perform fastenings, and ensure a clean, safe workspace, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays when needed. Qualifications include 1–3 years in manufacturing, ability to stand for long periods, HS diploma or GED, and availability for overnight shifts (10:00PM–6:00AM).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Regular standing, walking, and hand/eye work throughout shifts.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Overnight shift availability (10:00PM–6:00AM) and overtime as needed.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform various production tasks including mechanical assembly and material handling.
• Operate machines such as air wrenches and hydraulic/pneumatic presses to fit, fasten, or bond parts.
• Sort and arrange parts; bolt, clip, screw, or cement components as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company policies.

Job description

Job Title: Production Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL (32310)

Pay:1st shift $18.00/hr., 2nd shift $19.80/hr., 3rd shift $20.70/hr.

Schedule:

1st shift - Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:00PM

2nd shift - Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:00PM

3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday 10:00PM - 6:00AM

all shifts will require mandatory overtime on Saturdays when needed.

What's the Job?

• Various production tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test strands, functional testing, preparation and material handling
• Operates machines such as air wrenches, hydraulic or pneumatic presses and other tools to perform fitting, fastening, or bonding on the assembly line
• Place and sort parts in specified relationship to each other and also use hand/eye coordination to bolt, clip, screw, cement, and fasten all parts together
• Follow all company policy and procedures to maintain a clean and safe work area

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of manufacturing (production, machine operator, assembly) experience required
• This position requires you to regularly stand, stoop, kneel, reach, walk and use hands and fingers for entire shifts
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to perform above company standards in a fast paced, team focused environment
• Availability to work overnight shift from 10:00PM to 6:00AM
• Job requires a pre-employment drug and background screening
