Job summary

Globe Composite Solutions is seeking a dedicated production worker to plan and execute manufacturing tasks in our MA facility. You will study orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to efficiently load stock and produce high-quality parts in accordance with company standards.

The role requires strong math, attention to detail, and ability to operate precision measuring tools, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior machining knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess conceptual skills and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to operate Windows-based computers and enter data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan production by studying work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Load feed mechanism by carting stock into position.
• Produce quality parts according to blueprints and quality standards.
• Maintain specifications through measurement and tooling checks; troubleshoot malfunctions; replace worn tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Use precision measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer) to verify specs.
• Ensure safe operations by adhering to procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Regular exposure to noise, dust, high heat and chemicals
• Regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Frequent reaching with hands and arms
• Constant standing and use of hands while performing essential functions of the job.
