Position Location

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician at our St. Joseph location!

Responsibilities

• Participate in harvest activities such as preparation, drying, shelling, husk oversight, product unloading, and other relevant processes.
• Perform production activities including seasonal preparation, seed sampling, truck unloading, conditioning, treating, packaging, rework, and product return, including leading work areas.
• Monitor highly automated equipment for processes like harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing.
• Use automation and computerized systems (computers and iPads) to perform work tasks.
• Engage in product return and sorting activities.
• Complete warehousing activities, including forklift operation, sampling, pooling, etc.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain GED within 12 months of hire.

Required Skills

• Proactive work ethic and good time management.
• Problem-solving skills and comfort with technology (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
• Team-oriented with good communication and adaptability.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and stay organized.
• At least 1 year of experience or education in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or warehousing.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks, work outdoors/indoors in various conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and work shifts/overtime as needed.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year technical or associate degree in related fields.
• Experience with LEAN principles and agriculture equipment.
