Job summary

AvaDent by Global Dental Science is seeking a Production Technician for hands-on support of the on-site dental manufacturing operation. The role involves performing diverse production tasks across milling, scanning, 3D printing, equipment operation, and quality checks, with cross-training and movement between areas as needed.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safe, accurate production while contributing to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
  • Willingness to learn multiple production functions and work in different areas as needed.
  • Previous dental laboratory, manufacturing, machine operation, CNC, 3D printing, scanning, milling, or similar production experience is helpful but not required.

  • Perform assigned production and manufacturing tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Learn and become proficient in multiple production processes through hands-on training and cross-training.
  • Operate production equipment to include milling, scanning, 3D printing, and related systems as assigned.
  • Prepare, load, unload, clean, and process products, materials, and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Inspect work for quality, accuracy, completeness, and visible defects.
  • Accurately complete required production documentation and system entries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Report quality, equipment, material, or production issues promptly to a supervisor.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to meet daily production requirements.
  • Cross train in additional production areas and support other functions as business needs change.
  • Perform other production duties as assigned.

Description

The Production Technician is a hands‑on position supporting AvaDent's dental manufacturing operation. Team members are trained to perform a variety of production tasks and may work in different areas based on their training, experience, production volume, staffing, and the needs of the business.

Production areas may include milling, scanning, 3D printing, equipment operation, material preparation, cleaning and post‑processing, quality checks, and other manufacturing activities. Previous dental or manufacturing experience is not required. AvaDent provides training for the right individuals.

Production Technicians are expected to become cross‑trained over time and may be assigned or moved between production areas as workload and business needs change.

Primary Responsibilities
