Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs, Rockport Works, has immediate opportunities for Production Technicians in the Shipping Department. The Production Technician is responsible for inspecting packaging, receiving, and loading material for shipment by truck or rail.

Responsibilities include visual inspection for damage, packaging to specifications, maintaining inventory locations, and ensuring quality storage. You will load outbound material and perform other duties as assigned, working 4-on/4-off 12-hour shifts in

Qualifications

• Minimum manufacturing experience or ability to demonstrate understanding for material flow and proper handling of Work in Process inventories.
• Must be willing and able to work rotating 4 on 4 off (12 hour) work schedule.
• Must be willing and able to work in various environments including indoor atmosphere controlled and outside slag-based fields.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
