Job summary

Owens Corning is hiring for an entry-level Production Technician to join our Portland, Oregon manufacturing team. This full-time role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift with weekend variance and offers a $1.50 per hour night shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Learn processes including printing, wrapping, banding, and staging finished units for the warehouse.
• Perform inspections following standard work guidelines.
• Complete daily housekeeping and other standard work items for areas of accountability.
• Monitor processes and identify defects in product quality.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $24.00/hour.

Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift.

Shift Rotation: Alternates between days and nights every 6 weeks.

Shift Differential: $1.50/hour- night shift.

Day Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM.

Night Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM.

Schedule Highlights

Employees work a rotating schedule of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week.

Day and night shifts alternate every 6 weeks.

The schedule provides every other weekend off, allowing for extended time away from work.
