Job description

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Production Technician for our Clear Lake ATR Facility located in Pasadena, TX.

Under routine supervision, you will be responsible for various complex operations and duties in a production environment.

This position involves operating equipment related to an Auto Thermal Reformer, CO2 removal, cold box/liquefaction, compression equipment, and distribution systems.

Essential Functions Include:

1. Learn and operate computer control systems and field operations.
2. Perform startup and shutdown of process equipment.
3. Read and interpret P&ID, equipment manuals, and company procedures.
4. Monitor process performance and make adjustments to address deviations and meet standards.
5. Operate units to supply products safely, economically, and in compliance with environmental regulations and customer requirements.
6. Prepare equipment for maintenance, including lock-out tag-out procedures.
7. Ensure safe permitting of maintenance work and oversee contractors as needed.
8. This position requires 12-hour shift rotations, on-call periods, and scheduled overtime.

This role may involve outdoor work in various weather conditions and occasional non-standard shifts, including extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call-ins.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's in Applied Sciences Degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred.
• At least 2 years of production operations experience preferred.
• Ability to manage confined space entry, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights.
