We are seeking a Production Technician with experience working in vialing, labeling, and/or packaging environments. Responsibilities include performing tasks related to packaging operations according to department procedures, specifications, or work instructions. This involves startup and breakdown of operations, clearing work areas, calculating component usage, verifying product counts, and conducting visual inspections for defects.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, operation, re-supply, documentation, cleaning, minor adjustments, and preventative maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and storage according to department guidelines.
• Understand product sources and associated chemical and biosafety hazards.
• Complete tasks within specified time frames and maintain accurate records.
• Accurately count, label, and package products; calculate component usage and rejection rates.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations concerning chemical hazards and blood-borne pathogens.
• Adhere to FDA regulations and ISO standards relevant to operations.
• Complete required training and qualifications.
• Communicate shift status to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency objectives are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or Automation preferred.
• Experience in an aseptic (clean room) environment preferred.
• Ability to handle products manually, use ladders, maneuver heavy carts, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to inspect products for defects, fill levels, and color differentiation.
