Job Summary

This role accelerates business value by being responsible for the safe operation and sanitation of high-speed production equipment and support equipment such as metal detectors, film wrappers, and conveyors. The Production Technician must be willing and able to:

• Perform product and size changeovers
• Complete daily production and quality logs
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
• Carry out daily and weekly maintenance on equipment
• Assist plant engineers and mechanics with higher-level maintenance tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics, valuing honesty and integrity
• Maintain high safety standards, emphasizing personal safety

Qualifications

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Conditions vary from office to plant environments, with exposure to temperature fluctuations, electrical hazards, ammonia, and heavy machinery. The role requires working nights and weekends as scheduled. The physical demands include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, color, and depth perception.
