Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Technician in Conroe, TX to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate, adjust and repair high-speed production equipment, and follow SOPs to meet production goals.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of mechanical experience, 2 years in a high-speed environment, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Onsite work and a starting hourly rate of $32.40 are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
• 2 years' work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating and upholding integrity.
• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety, PPE, and emergency procedures.

PositionOverview:

As a Production Technician ,you’rea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You will contribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.

Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

High School Diploma orequivalent education.

1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills.

Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools.

2years' work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

May be subject to allofthe following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).
