Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Technician to join a production crew. You will observe SOPs and contribute to the success of Ball by operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed production equipment within your area of responsibility.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools. On-site work environment with safety and quality as priorities.

Qualifications

• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and safety policies including PPE and emergency procedures.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant goals.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for quality standards and customer specs.
• Build positive relationships across the team through collaboration and integrity.

PositionOverview:

As aProduction Technician,yourea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You Willcontribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

• Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.

• Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications.

• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

RequiredExperience andSkills:

• High School Diploma orequivalent education.

• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools.

PreferredExperienceandSkills:

• 2yearswork experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Physical EnvironmentandWorking Conditions:

• May be subject toall ofthe following, but not limited to:
• Hot/Cold working conditions.
• Loud /Noisy environment.
• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting Hourly Rate:$32.40

• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
