Job summary

Diode Dynamics is a Missouri-based manufacturer of automotive LED lighting and accessories. We seek a hands-on Technician to support production, warehousing, and shipping in a fast-paced environment.

You will rotate through SMT Production, Test and Packaging, and Warehouse Operations, performing assembly, soldering, packaging, and quality checks while following SOPs and 5S principles. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to learn new skills and work with high attention to detail.
  • Must have a background in manufacturing.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours a day, and lift 45 lbs or more on a daily basis.
  • Must be willing to wear necessary PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Experience soldering and assembling electronics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cellular manufacturing
  • Understanding and applying the 5S method.
  • Understanding effective quality management to ensure that production processes comply with regulatory standards.
  • A high school diploma required.

  • Assembling LED lamps and electrical components.
  • Manually soldering and crimping circuit boards and wire harnesses.
  • Preparing and organizing various components needed in production.
  • Operation of basic manufacturing equipment.
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
  • Accurately following technical procedures for high-quality efficiency.
  • Quickly and accurately packaging and labeling products
  • Follow all approved work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements.
  • Able to perform in-process quality inspections and verify products meet established quality standards.
  • Handle materials and products in a manner that prevents damage or contamination
  • Accurately complete production records

Job Description

As a Technician at Diode Dynamics, you will conduct daily operations of production, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping for automotive LED accessories. You will be a member of a quickly expanding team in a fast-paced environment. Our rapid growth means there are excellent opportunities for future advancement.

Technicians rotate through various operation cells, including:

  • SMT Production
  • Test and Packaging
  • Warehouse Operations

Rotation times vary between 2 weeks and 3 months depending on the complexity of the cell and customer demands. Therefore, flexibility in handling various tasks is essential, as circumstances can and often do change. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in multiple facets of operations.
