Responsibilities

• You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the air separation facility, including routine operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and product loading
• Operate equipment and adjust controls to maintain proper flows, pressures, and product purity
• Maintain product quality in line with customer requirements and quality standards
• Monitor equipment performance (e.g., cooling efficiency, water temperatures, system effectiveness)
• Read and interpret P&IDs and control logic diagrams
• Follow all company procedures, safety standards, and technical guidelines
• Troubleshoot issues in the fill zone and backup systems
• Perform cooling tower water testing and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain facility buildings, grounds, and related equipment
• Train and mentor new employees, oversee and communicate contractor activities when required
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance with maintenance teams
• Complete required training and on‑the‑job training within timelines
• Use computer systems and Microsoft Office applications for daily tasks
• Perform duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or apprenticeship in a related field preferred
• Experience in continuous chemical or industrial operations is preferred
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards
• Proficient in basic computer and technical skills
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, and wear required PPE
