Job summary

prosource.it is seeking a Systems Integration Technician to join a global enterprise team delivering technical solutions for internal partners. The role involves assembling, testing, and documenting hardware and firmware, with onsite duties in Denver or Houston.

You will work 40 hours per week, on a W2 basis, and earn a salary range of $85,000–$95,000 depending on experience. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, C and Redis in an embedded/IoT context.
• Familiarity with AWS IoT, Kinesis and Lambda services.
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test all manufactured products prior to shipment.
• Complete daily shipment and status reports.
• Read diagrams, drawings, and BOMs to assemble components.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to quality standards.
• Perform unit testing and firmware verification on production units.
• Document IDs and assign units to field locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customer
• Participating in continual training and development
• Completing daily reports to indicate goods that have been shipped and to identify late orders
• Reading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products
• Assisting other Assemblers when required
• Performing work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly station
• Unit testing and quality assurance
• Flash and verify firmware on production units
• Document ID and assign units to field locations

Requirements

• Basic understanding of IOT wireless networking
• Proficient with Python
• Basic understanding of C
• Proficient using configuration files
• Proficient using Redis
• Proficient with Docker/Podman
• Proficient at problem solving technical system (determining where issues are originating from)
• Professional documentation skills for bug reporting and process documentation
• AWS Dynamo, IoT, Kinesis and Lambdas experience
• Comfortable working with data dumps to help find flaws or error in a system
• Comfortable diagnosing and repairing faults, resolving network issues, and installing and configuring hardware and software
