Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support the development, launch, and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes and equipment. Qualifications

  • Technical degree, military training, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, automation, or technical operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment, assembly systems, or test equipment.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing engineering projects related to new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Operate, monitor, and evaluate production and development equipment.
  • Assist in developing and refining manufacturing methods, workflows, and operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Collect and analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and process improvements.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and qualification activities for new equipment and processes.
  • Build, modify, and test fixtures, tooling, and prototype assemblies.
  • Perform inspections using measurement and test equipment to verify process performance and product quality.
  • Work cross–functionally with engineering, quality, production, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications
Required

Preferred
  • Experience in electronics, medical devices, aerospace, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with robotics, PLCs, sensors, machine vision, and automated machinery.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience with validation, process characterization, or quality systems.
