Join us as a Production Technician at FlowerHire

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician responsible for all aspects of plant processing from post-crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale, as outlined by the management team and SOPs. Responsibilities include post-harvest tasks such as drying, curing, trimming, packaging, and labeling, while maintaining productivity and professionalism in the use of facilities and equipment.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in post-harvest plant processing of cannabis.
• Perform fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, inspection, and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Transport harvested plants to drying rooms and hang for drying.
• Hand trim or operate trimming machines.
• Record weights, shred plant waste, and dispose of non-cannabis media compliantly.
• Follow instructions and assist management as delegated.
• Work efficiently and adhere to confidentiality and non-disclosure policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1-3 years of experience in a production role, including hands-on activities.
• Knowledge of weights and measurements.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends as required.
• Attention to detail, speed, and precision with equipment.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain consistency.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods.

Additional Requirements

• Exposure to pollen, dust, and plant particles.
• Physical activity including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Good visual acuity, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions.
