Qualifications

Production Technician II - Bethlehem, PA

Job Overview

This role is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and other associated work. The technician safely maintains, repairs, replaces, and assists in modifying processing, packaging, and facility equipment, following online quality and best practice procedures.

Shift and Schedule

A full-time position working 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with daily overtime and Saturdays as needed. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required per schedule.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate machine in accordance with online quality and best practice procedures
• Handle empty cases
• Perform best practice quality checks
• Watch for defective materials
• Clean and sanitize equipment and facility
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Complete mechanical repairs
• Assist mechanics during repairs
• Perform quality inspections and submit associated paperwork
• Make data‑driven process adjustments
• Troubleshoot potential problems
• Train other operators
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Wear all required safety gear and follow GMP rules and regulations
