Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Technician at the Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama to support safe, efficient production on a rotating shift. You will operate heavy equipment and contribute to reliable plant operations across multiple areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of industrial experience, with strong safety awareness and teamwork. Training in cement processes and PPE compliance is expected.

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED
• Required Work Experience: 2-4 years industrial experience, prefer 5-10 years experience.
• Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
• Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment to support production.
• Learn to operate a gantry crane for unloading vessels carrying fuels and raw materials.
• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective actions.
• Adhere to ISO environmental and quality standards and maintain good housekeeping.
• Promote a culture of safety and comply with PPE protocols.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will work in various areas using various industrial equipment to provide a smoothand safe operation. Position works on a rotating shift schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Ensure compliance with ISO environmental and quality standards, and housekeeping. Maintain high workstandards.
• Ability to operate various heavy equipment.
• Will be required to learn how to operate a gantry crane for unloading vessels caring fuels and rawmaterials
• Troubleshoot production issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit thesebehaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Additional Requirements:

• A good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High degree of safety awareness
• Initiative; ability to learn; team player; and strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum direct supervision
• Energy - consistently maintain high level of productivity.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
