Job summary

Volvo Group's Mack Trucks Division in the United States is seeking a hands-on technician to support production and warehouse operations by performing renovation tasks on heavy-duty components.

You will follow procedures, perform tests to ensure products meet preset parameters, and maintain required documentation while upholding safety programs across production areas. Cross-training and a safe, organized workspace support ongoing development, with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years remanufacturing/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge and skills.

Position Summary

• Support production and warehouse operations by performing renovation tasks on production projects of heavy-duty components
• Perform cross-functional tasks to support production operations as required

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform tasks to support production requirements on various projects.
• Follow procedures and utilize required tools defined by process documentation.
• Perform and review tests to ensure products meet requirements of pre-set parameters.
• Maintain and report required documentation.
• Follow appropriate procedures in handling products and using equipment to ensure safety and health in the Production and Warehouse areas by complying with established safety programs.
• Crosstrain to function in all Production areas
• Follow training plans and activities as assigned and directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area.
• Support all other DEX activities as needed

Minimum Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of remanufacturing/manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and use hands and tools to perform required tasks
• Ability to stand for 6-9 hours
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Capability of hand-eye coordination of assembling components

For this position, the base pay is set at $21.24 - $26.24/hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
