Job summary

The position is full-time with afternoon focus and some mornings; extra hours come during performances and tech weeks. Collaboration with faculty and students is essential, with hands-on leadership of the Upper School tech team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical theatre.
• Experience in carpentry, scenic painting, sound/lighting design.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders/standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to realise bold production visions.
• Manage lighting, sound design and operation for events; serve as Tech Director for productions.
• Oversee Performing Arts spaces, equipment, and scheduling, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Lead and train the student Chapel Tech team and stage crew for events.
• Maintain production spaces and equipment across campuses; coordinate repairs.
• Support evening/community events and rentals, and provide AV support for concerts.
