Job summary

Orizon Aerostructures is seeking to assist machinists and machine operators in producing quality parts and achieving Production’s objectives in Olathe, KS.

Responsibilities include reading dispatch lists, setting up fixtures, loading parts, performing inspections, maintaining records, and operating forklift. Training will be provided, with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

• Attend consistently and work independently.
• Perform production and related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read dispatch list and follow priorities.
• Set up fixtures per Setup Books.
• Acquire tools and load parts in fixtures.
• Perform visual inspections and document measurements.
• Complete inspection records and production paperwork.
• Deburr parts and operate forklift.
• Dump chip bins and operate cranes/hoists.
• Perform equipment safety inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with policies.

Job description

Assist Machinists and Machine Operators to machine a quality part and meet Production’s objectives.

• Attend consistently and work independently
• Perform assigned production and production-related tasks. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Reading the Dispatch List and following priorities
  • Setting up fixtures per Setup Books
  • Acquiring tools
  • Loading parts in fixtures
  • Performing visual inspections and measuring attributes
  • Completing inspection records and Production paperwork
  • Deburring parts
  • Operating a forklift
  • Dumping chip bins
  • Operating cranes/hoists
  • Performing equipment safety inspections
  • Performing Production related Preventive Maintenance activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Successfully complete all assigned training courses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
